30 years of the MSCA
Since 1996, the MSCA has grown from a small fellowship scheme into the European Union’s flagship programme for researcher training, mobility and career development. Over the past three decades, it has supported more than 150,000 researchers at all career stages, enabling them to gain international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral experience while contributing to scientific excellence and innovation.
The programme brings together researchers, universities, research organisations, companies and public institutions across Europe and beyond, creating lasting collaborations and strengthening Europe’s research and innovation ecosystem.
Throughout 2026, we will highlight the achievements and inspiring stories of the MSCA community and share opportunities to engage in the celebrations.
